The art scene in Bangalore hit another high this weekend, with the Chitrasanthe - an annual art event organized by the Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath that draws amateur and professional artists to display their works on the streets around the KCP college. The event is an attempt to bring art into the everyday life of people and make it affordable for all.
There were watercolors, acrylics, fabric paintings, silk paintings, graphite, charcoal, pencil sketches, sculpture and many more works on display. In addition there were curious human faces drawn on cylindrical chart papers hung from the trees! Amusing, creative and colorful!
