Have you noticed how long the pods of the gulmohar are?

Or how spiky those of the african tulip tree are?

Hello! I quite enjoy your photos and commentary. I think you may have visited my blog for Hill-Stead Museum in Farmington, CT. I am new to all the technology. But either way you have a charming site. Warm Regards,

The seed pods of gulmohar look similar to the honey locust of North America (Gleditsia triacanthos).

Both are in family Fabaceae (legumes).

Spiky - yes, we have one just outside our home too.
