Yes, of course i simply had to photograph my favorite chennai tree - the delonix regia. I found this one that seemed rather dimunitive compared to the ones on the streets. Sun washed isnt it? I managed to squint my eyes, look up and take a few pictures of the flowers. The Delonix Regia is also called the Peacock Tree and the Royal Poinciana.
