This is my favourite Hibiscus ... over here we commony call the Hibiscus schizopetalus the 'Japanese Lantern' Hibiscus. I have one myself and I just love it pendulous form and brilliant blooms.
We hardly see the first hibiscus here anymore even in public park. I call it the old type of hibiscus, now we see so many new ones with vibrant colours and bigger blooms.
