That must have been quite a sight: viewing the talons up close! Reminds me of a similar incident at work. While we had our heads buried in our desktops one day, we heard a flutter. It was a pigeon that had somehow entered our office. It couldn't find its way out and all of us were equally helpless. It was only after a longish time, that the bird was finally rescued.
