The first tree that we looked at was the Datura suaveolens - Angels Trumpet. Beautiful white flowers hung all over the tree.
This house had interesting looking flowers that resembled the bougainvillea but were not quite the same.
This one of course deserves a mention for how the house has been built around the coconut tree. If only everyone would care so much about the trees.
We passed many beautiful flowers as well.. here are some.
The red ginger (Alpinia purpurata)
A powderpuff (caliandra) variety

Beautiful flowers... The Thubergia mysorensis is to die for, and I love the house built around the coconut tree.
Really nice to see the house built around the tree. The residents must really care about trees. May their tribe increase.
Very nice! I have thunbergia mysorensis creeper at home. The creeper is young; yet to flower.
Nice to see the house around the tree. And there are so many varieties of bougainvillea these days, it could be one of the hybrid ones. We had only four or so when I was growing up! And so nice that your mother shares your interest in trees/plants too!
I missed reading your blog for so many days, and I have to rush to catch up.
Lovely trees and flowers, and your knowledge about them is amazing.
thank you all for your comments.
